Terms and Conditions

A quote is an estimate, not a binding contract. We provide quotes based entirely on the information you give us — year, make, model, condition, completeness, location and access.

Quotes are valid for 7 days and are subject to change with the scrap metal market.

Our quote is honoured on site provided the vehicle is materially as described. We will not reduce an agreed offer arbitrarily.

We may revise or withdraw an offer at pickup if the vehicle differs materially from your description. Examples include:

• a missing or substituted engine or transmission
• significant additional stripping or missing components
• a different vehicle than the one quoted
• undisclosed access obstacles
• an inability to establish ownership

If we revise an offer, we will explain the reason, and you are free to decline and end the transaction at no cost to you.

No contract of sale exists until both parties sign the bill of sale.

By selling a vehicle to us, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You are the registered owner of the vehicle, or you hold documented legal authority to sell it on the owner's behalf (for example as an executor, administrator, or authorised signatory of a company).
• You have the legal right to sell the vehicle.
• The vehicle is free of any lien, loan, security interest or other encumbrance, or any such interest has been discharged before the sale.
• The vehicle is not stolen and is not subject to any claim, dispute, seizure or investigation you have not disclosed.
• You have described the vehicle accurately and honestly, including its condition, completeness, and any water, flood, fire or collision damage.
• You have disclosed any residual contents — fuel, chemicals, produced water, drilling fluid, or mounted tanks — in the case of commercial or industrial units.
• All information and identification you provide is true and valid.

You agree to indemnify us against any loss, claim, damage, fine or expense arising from a breach of these representations, including any third-party claim to ownership of the vehicle.

Alberta legislation governing scrap metal dealers and recyclers requires us to:

• Obtain valid government-issued photo identification from you at the time of the transaction
• Record prescribed information about you, the vehicle, and the transaction
• Retain those records for the period required by law
• Report prescribed transaction information to law enforcement through a centralized database

We cannot complete a purchase without this information. If you are unwilling or unable to provide valid identification and proof of ownership, we cannot buy your vehicle. This is a legal requirement, not a company preference.

Payment is made at the time of pickup, before or as the vehicle is loaded.

Payment is made by traceable method — electronic transfer or cheque.

Payment is made to the registered owner or authorised seller named on the bill of sale, not to a third party.

We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect payment details you provide, or by your financial institution.

Pickup within our stated service area is at no cost to you. We will confirm the arrangement before you commit.

You must ensure safe and lawful access to the vehicle, including any gate codes, fobs, parkade access, or permission from a property owner or building manager.

You must disclose access constraints in advance — parkade ceiling height, narrow lanes, soft ground, whether the vehicle rolls and steers.

We take reasonable care during recovery. However, recovering an immobile, seized or long-parked vehicle can cause damage to the vehicle itself, and in some circumstances to the surrounding surface — for example driveway or lawn marking where a vehicle must be winched. By booking a pickup you accept this risk. Tell us about anything you're concerned about and we'll discuss the approach before we start.

If a vehicle cannot be safely or lawfully recovered, we may decline to complete the pickup.

Remove all personal property before pickup. Check the glovebox, console, under and behind seats, the trunk, the spare-wheel well, and any toolboxes or truck-bed storage.

Once a vehicle is collected it goes for processing and dismantling and its contents cannot be recovered. We are not responsible for any personal property, documents, tools, cash, electronics or other items left in or on a vehicle, and we accept no liability for their loss.

These are yours, not ours, and we cannot do them for you:

• Remove your licence plates before the vehicle is taken and return them to an Alberta registry agent to cancel your registration.
• Cancel your insurance, using the bill of sale as proof of sale.
• Retain your copy of the bill of sale as your record that ownership transferred.

We provide the bill of sale and general guidance, but responsibility for registration cancellation and insurance rests with you as the former registered owner.

You may cancel a scheduled pickup at any time before it takes place. Please give us as much notice as you can.

If our operator attends at an agreed time and the vehicle is not accessible, the seller is not present, required documentation is unavailable, or the vehicle is materially different from what was described, we may decline the pickup and reschedule.

We may reschedule pickups for weather, road conditions, equipment availability or operational reasons. We'll contact you as soon as we can.

Vehicles are purchased as is, where is, with all faults, for the purpose of dismantling, salvage and recycling. We do not rely on any representation about roadworthiness, and vehicles we purchase are not acquired for continued road use.

• We aim to keep the site accurate but do not warrant that it is complete, current or error-free.
• All content, branding, text and graphics on this site are owned by us or used with permission and may not be reproduced without written consent.
• We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites we link to.
• We may modify or withdraw any part of the site at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Our total liability arising from any transaction is limited to the amount of the purchase price paid or payable for the vehicle in question.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for loss of profit, revenue or data, however caused.
• We are not liable for loss of personal property left in a vehicle (section 6), or for consequences of your failure to cancel registration or insurance (section 7).
• Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Alberta. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta, in the judicial district of Edmonton.

We may update these terms. The current version is always posted on this page with its effective date. The terms in force at the time of your transaction are the ones that apply to it.
