How do we Scrap a Car?

Many people ask us, how do we scrap a junk car ? The process is long and detail oriented.

First: The battery of the car is taken out. Every battery contains toxic chemicals and acid needing to properly handled and drained. Battery acid is not only toxic and extremally corrosive but also highly combustible and explosive with a potential for severe injuries, not to mention the damage to the local eco-system.

To reduce the amount of waste we try to recycle and reuse as much as we can. After draining out the fluid, we will assess and sell the usable chemicals and fluids to suitable vendors.

Second: Tires of each salvage car are carefully inspected. Tires are difficult to recycle, so often they are thrown out. We try our best to re-use hat can be reused so if the tires are in road suitable conditions they are sold off. If not, they are disposed of for recycling to many useful items such as rubber mats and even streets we drive on.

Then the rest of the parts are taken out to be either sold, recycled or to be disposed.

Third and Last: The last thing that remains is the shell of the car and that is scraped.
